April 25, 2020 It’s Day 6 of National Volunteer Week! CHI is very grateful to have such amazing people who have traveled to Haiti, often more than once, for a medical or surgical clinic. Each day this week we will feature one of our dedicated volunteers. Judy is now a retired OB/GYN based out of Minnesota. She is a long-time volunteer with CHI and is passionate about doing work that is directed towards a strong mission. Judy has been apart of our surgical clinic team as a co-leader alongside Robin Meetz. Robin describes her as having “great leadership qualities, among those she is both fun and positive as well as assertive.” Judy also helps contribute to CHI by doing the difficult job of dealing with the supplies that are crucial to have at our clinics. She works on the inventory of supplies which includes locating them, organizing them, and then distributing them to volunteers who will carry them over to Haiti with their luggage.
Today we honor Judy for her work and contributions to CHI. We’re so thankful to have her as a CHI Leader and continued supporter of our work in Haiti!
