CHI's COVID-19 Fundraiser RESULTS

We did it! Thanks to your support we reached our goal of $10,000!! It is because of YOU and your kindness to donate or share our campaign that 500 new Gadyen Dlo water systems are being distributed throughout the communities we serve to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in Haiti.

A Look at the Impact

• On average, CHI usually distributes 50 Gadyen Dlo buckets a month. That means for the month of April, thanks to this Buckets4Haiti fundraiser we distributed 10x more water systems.
• Due to a shortage of masks in Haiti, we partnered with some local seamstresses to help fill the need. This partnership not only provides face protection for the community, but also income for the seamstresses who made the masks!
• Outside of the buckets, our full-time Haitian staff was able to provide education to their community on ways to prevent Coronavirus and how to keep them and their families safer.
• Lastly, the 500 Gadyen Dlo water systems in the community are being used out in front of businesses for people to wash their hands, as well as in homes to provide clean drinking water. Those 500 water systems could prevent the spread of the virus for more than 5,000 people in our service area in Haiti!
